Martita Ortega and Gemma Triay’s victory at the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel deserves recognition. Their successful partnership led them to claim the championship title, showcasing their exceptional skills and establishing themselves as pioneers in Premier Padel. Notably, they became the first women to secure a title in this esteemed competition, defeating the top-ranked pair and solidifying their position as formidable contenders.

Martín de la Puente’s historic achievement as the first Spanish wheelchair tennis player to compete at Wimbledon is truly remarkable. Not only did he become the first Spanish player to participate in the tournament, but he also reached the semifinals, adding another extraordinary milestone to his journey.
Reflecting on his groundbreaking participation in the prestigious Grand Slam, which features only the top eight players in the world, he shared: “I encountered some difficulties with my returns and adjusting my wheelchair movements on the grass, but I will continue working hard, driven by the belief that this momentum will lead me even further”. In addition, playing in Wimbledon was a dream come true for Martín.
