This past weekend proved to be monumental for our athletes, delivering performances that continue to raise the bar in their respective disciplines. From Toni Bou’s record-breaking 36th World Championship title in Andorra to Julia Avdeeva’s dominance in France and Mathys Erhard’s ongoing success in Spain, it was a weekend of remarkable achievements.

Toni Bou Secures 36th World Championship Title

First and foremost, Toni Bou won his 36th World Championship title. And it was in the indoor discipline during the event held in his home, Andorra. With two events left in the 2024 season, Bou’s remarkable feat adds another crown to his already impressive legacy. Bou remains the most decorated rider in the world of two-wheel motorsports.

Alongside his 36 titles—18 in X-Trial and 18 in TrialGP—his career also includes an astounding 19 Trial des Nations titles with the Spanish team. Moreover, Bou has accumulated 84 wins in 111 events, securing 99 podium finishes in the X-Trial Championship. It’s safe to say that Toni Bou’s domination in this sport remains unparalleled.

Julia Avdeeva Triumphs at W35 Reims

Meanwhile, on the tennis front, Julia Avdeeva continued her stellar year by securing the W35 Reims title in France. Julia was consistent throughout the tournament, winning all of her matches in two sets except for the final. In a closely contested battle, she triumphed over Margaux Rouvroy in three sets to lift the trophy. This victory further solidifies Avdeeva’s status as a top performer this season.

Mathys Erhard Claims M25 Zaragoza Title

Finally, Mathys Erhard delivered another standout performance, winning the M25 Zaragoza title. This victory marks his third title in four finals this year. It also proves that he is in excellent form and continues to build momentum as the season progresses. In fact, it’s his second title in a row. Mathys has demonstrated remarkable consistency and will be a force to be reckoned with in upcoming tournaments.

Overall, this weekend’s results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our athletes. We look forward to their upcoming competitions. And will continue to support them as they strive for excellence in their respective sports.
